My Story

Sanctuary in Chichester [https://sanctuaryinchichester.org/] is a small independent charity within the UK's City of Sanctuary movement.  The work of the charity's willing and inclusive volunteers is hugely important, given the refugee crisis affecting so many in great need, having lost everything and suffered devastating trauma in their own lands. A volunteer myself, I have come to appreciate the key role of the charity in developing appropriate pathways to independence for those we support, whether on the Government's resettlement schemes or as asylum seeking families.  This work cannot be achieved without vital funding.  I therefore hope you will help motivate me in my 4th Great South Run by giving whatever you can to support the vulnerable and traumatised people who seek sanctuary in the United KIngdom.
